It's like £6.50 man, you must be skint! How were White Denim?

I was told Baroness would be doing a Brighton show, but they appear to not be?
If not I shall go Bristol or Sheffield, depending on which city I can gets a place to sleeps at.

My mate met Matt Pike before the show n offered to buy him a drink n Matt said yer, and they had a chin wag.
Said he is a very top bloke, but then my mate Ollie is too.

CEPT DEATH GRIPS DIDN'T PLAY (sad). A Storm of Light replaced em, but I was pretty crunk on vodka and really wanted a ciggie after about 3 songs.
Wish it had been Death Grips instead, in all honesty.

Also Melvins were rad last night, I did a stalk and waited for em after the gig, and met Jared and Dale.
THEY ARE SO POLITE.
Then I dropped my brand new camera 20FT.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.

But the photos still on the memory card. So. YES!

Next lot I need to get tickets for.

10th August: Capdown @ The Hydrant, Brighton
17th September: Torche @ The Haunt, Brighton
9th August: Kylesa @ Joiners, Southampton (probably if my mate fancy's the road trip)

And figure out which Baroness gig to go to.

ALSO, when/if there ends up being a Neurosis gig. GOING YES GOING.

Trouble is getting to Londonium from Kent, then beerage + CDs; the whole shabang'll cost me a ton at least ...

White Denim were, musically fantastic, but the sound engineer screwed the whole thing up.  Sound was too bass-y, muffling the guitars and vocals.  I could've cried.  

it was at The Forum and when I saw the Haunted last year I had the same issue; Dillinger mentioned that the same happened to him when he say DEP, so maybe it wasn't a fluke.

Bah, tickets for the Barfly went like hotcakes, so I missed out.  Southampton is nearly a 2 hour drive, so it'd be a bit of a trek.  Still tempting...
