It's fine as long as I don't know about it, I can listen to the worst nazi music or anything, but once I know it stays on my mind and taints the music for me. On a side-note, as you mentioned it, you really don't care your dad was a wife beater?

Sorry, no that was poorly worded. Yes I do, it messed me up. My earliest memories are of staying in battered wive's hostels, trying to sleep in a room of bunk beds filled with sobbing women. I still feel that now, I know those feelings , its not physical pain, its the pain of asking why is this happening to me?

I guess I meant that for music's sake I'm turning a blind eye and just focussing on the body of work rather than the personal. May sound weak but what do you do? Chuck Berry used to secretly film women peeing in his restaurant lavs, Prince used to fool about with his sister, M.J...who really knows?
