I doubt you'll find it yet.  Doobler's Mom works for Relapse (I believe), so I'm sure he's just had a chance to listen to it in advance--I doubt it's even close to the pressing stage yet which is where I presume most leaks originate.

Doobler's, would you mind speaking a bit to the overall sound of the record?  Some of the interviews I've read with John seem to indicate that they might be pushing in another direction--a more accessible one with maybe some simpler song structures.  That sort of verbiage makes me wince a tad.  Put my mind to rest!

to be honest, I experience the exact opposite reaction. My favorite Baroness song is Jake Leg, followed by Grad. So, more melodic/whatever? I could dig that.

Yeah, I love melodic Baroness too, and I'm sure my fears are completely unfounded.  I just wouldn't want Baroness to shy away from some of their complex song structures.  I expect it'll take one listen to quash all my concerns.

As many of you know, the band is now managed by QPRIME (METALLICA) they have very definite plans for how and when info gets out there. As I sometimes got in trouble for mentioning here about MASTODON info I had , I can't divulge much. I will say the release date is July 19th. Vinyl will be available on street date (pre-order info soon on relapse.com) and that the art is classic John Baizley. I'm not trying to be a dick, but I can't afford to get into trouble over spilling too much info.
