COOL!
I like that sound.
Cheyne Stoking reminds me of early Paradise Lost. Great song!
Both songs are great.

Good work fella!
What bit do you do?
...Paradise Lost used to sound like this?
I saw them support Opeth and they were like a cheesy dance/rock hybrid with a Hetfield impersonator on the mic.

Get me: EARLY Paradise Lost. You know the albums
Lost Paradise and
Gothic? I lost my interest when they became a Pop Band. Many Paradise Lost fans don't even know those 2 albums exist.

Damn!
It was the drummer, he sounded like he was playing a drum machine in time to House/Techno music.

I play guitar, with the "lead" bits as and when, but few and far between.
I don't think we sound like Paradise Lost, well certainly not Gothic! But I guess I'm not gonna complain. They were a great band with exceptional live capabilities! Saw them back in the day during the gothic era many times.
We're a lot dirtier than PL... But I guess everyone hears different shit, so fair dinkums!
But thanks for the support guys.

Jan 13 2007, 08:15 PM
It was because of that lead guiter that
reminded me of PL. That was their trademark.
Reminded - I did not mean that you actually do sound like them. Far from it, dude.

Yeah fair play man. I can see where you're coming from! It is the melody! It's not like we were compared to Prince or The Bckstreet Boys, so I'm not complaining! ha!

Thanks guys. We're fucking stoked with it.
Things are going great. We have some things in the pipeline that I can't discuss right now, but believe me I would love to shout it from the rooftops.
But this may serve as a distraction.
All we want is to travel far and wide and spread our dirty doom.

Holy shit your from Cumbria? I didn't think we existed outside of our idyllic little cell.
Death metal isn't really my thing but the grooves/riffs and the way the ominous (but really tasteful) drums really cut above it all are great. This is probably my personal taste but the middle of Do What Thou Wilt seems too repetitive after that awesome beginning. You've definitely earned your mint cake there though.

Asunder fucking rule, obviously their split with G.A.S is blinding, but Come Clarion Call is well boss! Ask Chiyo... She digs us dude!
Remember we have the Bastard Noise remix coming very soon...
Hey S.S.S. You from sCumbria?
Where from?
The repeptiveness is whatever boils your piss, what we have here is a 4:4 riff that takes over a minute per riff.

but it does change, but the song in question is edited in half, so you think it is repetive...you ain't heard the half of it

ha!

Useless suggestion: I'm not a fan of effects in vocals, but I think the ones used in SunnO)))'s "It Took the Night to Believe" would fit some of your songs pretty well.

Hiya peeps...
Grief have reformed as are starting with a European tour as I guess they are more popular in Europe (fanbase speaking) than the US. They are touring with Deathwish Thrashing Punkers Trap Them.
But I guess more US dates will appear, I know they are defo playing the Maryland Death Fest.

Cool cool, I would love to see you guys as well as Grief.
Thanks for the myspace page. Looks like they are doing quite a bit touring, both in the U.S. and Europe. I'm so excited right now, YOB and now Grief! I worship both these bands with my life.

Ahhhhh, I just noticed this.
Well we recorded for a 7" and a 12" in september 2008.
7" was a cover song with another band and they dragged their heels a bit and are now off the project.
12" was supposed to be out on Land O Smiles Recs (NY) but the organising band split up so that fell into the wayside, had a few offers but held out for the best one (not in terms of what we could get but in terms of what the release could do for us. It will now be a split 10".
Other than tha, we supported Grief (yes, THE Grief) in November. Currently writing our next full length, recording date guesstimate is mid to late 2009.

The track "wilt" is only the first half... Which starts off real fast (by our standards) then slows right down. But the better half of the song is the second half is the best IMO.
