Kinda bummed to bring the news here but the Very intimate AZ show has gone form a 550 ticket show to a 1500+ ticket show with a venue change to the Marquee theatre in Tempe.
My freinds one man band VIA VENGEANCE is opening still along with Intronaut and Kylesa.

What a bummer. It's still going to be an awesome show I'm sure, but I was kind of looking forward to a small intimate club. Oh well, I guess that means these guys will make a little more money at this stop. More power to them. See you there yahoo!

Grapevine told me the reason for the change was their new projection/stage show was quite difficult to set up in the smaller venue.. OOH that makes me really excited to see somthing like this..
I have been a huge fan of Projection since I saw Butthole Surfers play back in 1993 tripping my bawlz off in Mesa. It was amazing..watching people Ralph their cocktails up while the a penis reconstruction surgery was played backwards in fast motion over and over again durring ??? song... ha ha! Them getting sick made 60% of the venue follow suit, It was awesome.. best part tho is that puke form the oraface of someone in a group on Acid doesnt have the pungent smell you would expect.. Not so putrid. ha ah! Awesome cause right after Gibby brough our his mossberg shotgun and belw a beach ball out of the air from stage.. I nearly shit my pants. great trip.

The venue they are doing in SF has a standing capacity of 600, but Neurosis plays there every time with their visuals, so I think Mastodon will be fine with theirs. The ceilings are nice and high. And it will still be "intimate". I'm way looking forward to this damn show! Just a week and a half away!
