HASHTHRASH
Never, but they rule. They were one of the next bands I wanted to post in my daily song thread. Acid Bath fucking rules and gets a lot of play around this apartment.
m477
which song were you going to choose?
on the wikipedia link, what do they mean by the vocals being processed?
i play them alot too! wished i would've discovered them alot sooner than when i did. the lyrics can be a bit out there at times...haha ok, most of the time and the music and vocals are just awesome. there is alot of really cool youtube videos of some of their performances, the dvd that they released has some killer stuff on it too.
Geof
Venus Blue is a fucking awesome song. I wish they would have put out more material as the Agents of Oblivion and Dax's solo stuff doesn't really do it for me!
manfish
Finger Paintings Of The Insane is their best song.
MyLifeMyDeath
I really like "The scream of the butterfly".
Ridner
me and the Mrs love Acid Bath! Daxx's voice was definitely at it's pinnacle then. I got to play the Jackson that Sammy used to write/record all the Acid Bath songs cool.gif
Jotun
I've been geeking out about this band since a dude at work introduced me to them about a month ago. I haven't gotten ahold of their first album yet, but Paegan Terrorism Tactics is such a great fucking album.

Why didn't I get into this kind of shit in 1996 instead of the shit I listened to?!
Ridner
"Kite String....." is a better record (to me anyhow) - you are in for a treat once ya hear that one!
Naked Ahab
I think Paegan Terrorism Tactics is a far better album, though Kite String is good. Can't beat that opening track or Dead Girl. Perfect beginning, perfect ending.
m477
selections and some of my current fav's at the moment from "when the kite string pops" some good starters to choose from for the new listener. i've been on an acid bath/dax riggs binge since i discovered them over a year ago, pissed some of you more knowledgable ones on here have never mentioned them before:

the blue
finger paintings of the insane
jezebel
scream of the butterfly
dope fiend
god machine
bones of baby dolls

selections from "paegan terrorism tactics:

paegan love song
bleed me an ocean
graveflower
new death sensation
venus blue
13 fingers
dead girl

you guys hiding any other gems?
this really has been the best place for newer music/bands that i would never know of otherwise, thanks to all that have contributed over the years...except for dillinger who will only listen to no doubt, haha..kidding
serge-fabrizio
I've only heard Paegan Love Song, but it's bad ass, been looking out for there albums for a while but due to the recession we've just lost our local "alternative" record store, now all we have is like 4 branches of HMV.

I second that...

They are top bloody stuff, haven't listened in a while so ta for reminding me...

What y'all think to Deadboy & The Elephantmen? Thumbs up from this corner...
Face of Oblivion
So I guess I'm like 15 years behind the times (and drudging up an old ass post), but God Damn I'm loving me some Acid Bath. How I've never even heard of them until yesterday is just beyond me, but they're going on rotation right away. "When the Kite String Pops" is an amazing album all around.
m477
the 2nd and last album by this very fine, short lived band "Paegan Terrorism Tactics" is for the first time, being released on limited edition vinyl, as well as being re-issued/remastered on cd july 6th.
mine's already on preorder and wifey just bought me dax riggs tickets!! just thought i'd share for those that may be interested and don't know this.
