What is there to say? The show was mind blowing! Gotta be the best Mastodon show I have seen - no doubt about it. Everything sounded very tight - they nailed every song. The new stuff sounds amazing live and they pull it off well. The show was sold out and the crowd was really into it. I was in the front two rows the whole time, right between Troy and Bill. This was the best show I have seen in a very long time. Mastodon never disappoints, but they are truly in top form right now. I am in rough shape today and work was horrible - only got about 3hrs of sleep last night after the show - completely worth it though! I don't recall the whole setlist and I am not the greatest w/ song names - here is what I remember (in no particular order)

needless to say, it was fucking epic. wished they had played mother puncher and/or blood and thunder but you cant have every song off every album, but they played a very good mix of songs.

Christ, Ridner, could you have gotten any closer, I can barely make out what band is playing Just by looking at these pics I can tell it was an awesome show, can't wait to see them in 2 weeks in Atlanta.

lol Ridner, you were literally right in front of me at one point. Whipping sweaty hair in my face when you were head-banging. Punk. I was more to the left of the stage most of the time, less than halfway from the front.

mastodon killed and i couldn't move the whole damn show.
i was right in front of brent.

sad to say i didn't like kylesa tho.
their vocals were terrible and the drummers played the same shit.
plus i think they have the gayest bassist in the world.

And I actually REALLY liked Kylesa live. I bought their new album last month and getting to see it live was even better. Their sound is just really cool and their music is so easy to get into. Even my non-metal friends are banging heads to their beat. They were considerably better than Intronaut. Intronaut had decent music, but their vocals are meh. Both the vocalists sound exactly the same.
