some good stuff, but too much emo and post hardcore or metalcore or whatever the fuck it's called. i really wish i could see an ISIS headline

alright so let's see if i can get a press pass here

ps all the kids in the forum are getting excited about the shit bands, hopefully they will have the decency to at least bring hot scene girls

Me second that cool.gif

Actually Soundwave fest is a total wank and pretty much everyone I know who has gone to these in the past have said nothing positive about it at all.

I'm hoping that Baroness are doing some side shows, if not, I will have to endur floppy hair kids with their fucking attitudes instead of being in small sweaty pub filled with men with beards who have a knowledge and respect for all things heavy tongue.gif

I'm still hoping that there might be a Isis, Clutch, Baroness show somewhere...that's all I need to see and FNM of course biggrin.gif

out of the decent bands i think faith no more would be the only one to have a sideshow....maybe meshuggah

there is a 5 day gap between melbourne and sydney, but a cluth or baroness show? fuggedaboutit

Pretty much all the bands do side shows so I know I will have no prob about seeing Isis, Clutch and Baroness in small venues somewhere

in truth?! i'd much prefer a small venue for some of them

early bird tickets are at $121 (plus booking), not even BDO costs this much. with the small timeslots and the likely clashes, there's no way i'm going without press, you could see 2-3 of the better bands in a sideshow for that money.

but the problem with sideshows is that, even if all the bands you want to see play, with the festival's tight schedule (bar that melbourne - sydney gap), you're still going to have to give some a miss
