One of my favourite bands, cannot wait for that. 2009, what a year....

I know a lot of us already considered this one of the top albums of the year without even hearing it, but these two songs alone are really convincing me that this will be the one.

Then again I'm not a huge fan.

Have only heard two tracks from it, sounded pretty good. But it's always taken a while to appreciate BTBAM's albums.

Fossil Genera = Very Mr. Bungle-ish

I like it, but it sounds a little too much like Colors to me, except for Fossil Genera. And I think Colors is better.

I liked it even though I thought it sounded like a mutated baby born from The Mars Volta, Opeth, Dream Theater, and Muse. I definitely like it more than Alaska. It will take more than one listen to determine if I like it more than Colors

It's a good album alright, will definitely buy it. BTBAM are ace at writing songs like Desert of Song. By the way, is it a guest vocalist on that track or just one of the others in the band?

In Desert of Song, Tommy (the vocalist) and Paul (lead guitar) share vocal duty. The only vocals that I cannot identify are those in Swim to the Moon, right when the vocals start. There is a middle range shouting voice, then we can clearly hear tommy's growls, but I highly doubt that it is he who's doing the first lines of the verses.

I cannot really say right now that this album tops colors, because I still have to "memorize" all the tracks like Colors (i can headbang properly to every part of the album), but it has some FUCKING AMAZING MOMENTS!!!!!

the person in Swim to The Ocean is some dude from some other band who's name i cannot remember right now.


I've never listened to this band much, but i heard colors a few times and thought it was good, but I really like this album for some reason. I've listened to it the past day probably more than i ever have of colors

Never really listened to this band until i DL'ed the leak, so far so good, I'll definitely buy the album when it drops.

Have yet to hear the whole thing, but my buddy's been playing the leak whenever we drive around and (I can't believe I'm saying this) it seems even more eclectic than Colors. I'm looking forward to hearing the whole thing.
