I don't understand why everybody is hating on this track. The "Let it go" part is a little lame, but the rest is good.

Get out man. Quintessence has one of the sickest breakdowns I've yet to hear from Mastodon. I don't mind it at all.

I've loved this song from the very first time I heard it. It was actually my first fav off the album when I first got it. The verse riff is just too cool, it does such a good job of illustrating falling thru space, at least in my humble opinion. The ending kicks ass...I can't say anything bad about it...or any other of the masterpieces on that album. Its just another new and interesting facet to an already interesting and multi-faceted band.

You should have said "badass" instead of "bad." You confused the lot of us! It's probably the weakest song on the album, but it's still badass. I dunno' what everyone's complaining about the "LET IT GO" part for. That's the best damn part of the song.

Quintessence is not one of the weakest songs, at least to me. It's one of my favorites on the album, and pretty much to only song that still makes me spazz the fuck out whenever it comes on.

I usually just ignore the beginning of Ghost of Karelia. I really don't like the whole "wrathful ones 9 eyes gaze" parts at all. They don't flow at all with the song. The middle parts are all awesome though
